This is a really nice looking clock. It has a moderncontemporary look with the sleek lines and looks really nice in my room. I like the idea that it is battery operated and doesn’t need winding (C and D batteries were not included btw), and I like that you can choose the sounds and be notified every 15 minutes, half hour, or hour, and the volume can be adjusted, and It also gives you a few choices of sounds. The only thing I’m getting used to is the actual sound of the dongs. We’ve had an authentic wind up grandfather clock for years and the bell sound is considerably different on this one. I just need to get used to it. Also, you couldn’t tell by the picture on the site but the sides are glass so it gives it a very unique look. I really like it. And the price is right on this one. It’s not cheap, but it’s not cheaply made and it doesn’t look cheap. I would recommend this purchase.
