This item is simply lovely, exactly as pictured and had a nice heft to it. It’s not a small box and will be eye catching wherever it’s placed. I loved reading how it was hand pieced on the exterior. The only problem, and it was a tiny one, was a very small , almost microscopic black “ smudge” on the brass near the handle. My husband is very handy and after a thousand reassurances that he wouldn’t do any damage, he rubbed a tiny bit of mineral spirits on the spot with a cotton ball, and it came right off. Right after I placed the box in my living room, a neighbor stopped by and commented how beautiful it was. If you like unique things that you won’t see just any place, buy this ! I might save my pennies and purchase the horn “tower” that goes with it. I forgot to mention that this was on sale too, which makes it even more enjoyable.
