I really enjoy the pots and pans but was mislead by the dishwasher fast. It's recommended not to put them in the dishwasher. I just bought this so have only used it three times. I can say that the pan seems very sturdy, well made, does heat quickly as stated in the advertising, and so far nothing sticks (fried chicken & potatoes, pancakes, reheated food). I did a ridiculous amount of research before buying these GreenPan GP5 pans, and I’m happy to say they were worth it. Eggs slide around like they’re on ice, food cooks evenly on my gas stove, and cleanup takes about 10 seconds. The real test? Someone in my house used a fork instead of a spatula and the pan survived without a meltdown. I absolutely love the Bobby Flay 12-inch cast iron skillet. I had used many a cast iron pan from a very popular brand that is made in Tennessee. This pan is similar in weight, and hence, heat retention for searing. But what sets the Bobby Flay by GreenPan series apart is the handles. The handles of the other brand are level and parallel to the top of the pan, as well as only being 5 inches long. The Bobby Flay cast iron skillets have handles that are slightly over 6 inches and are angled somewhat upward, which makes this pan so much easier to pick up. Also, the helper handles have enough space to actually get your fingers between the inside of the helper handle and the exterior of the pan without burning yourself.
