The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Our fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree that grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid bronze with acid-etched cocoon-shaped vessels. This Forest Leaf collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world. Interpreting plant forms in cast metal presents work, which is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined.

We searched for cabinet knobs and found some that were well over $200 but when we saw these, not lone did we love the entire but we were very shocked at the price. We thought that it was worth spending the money to buy them just to see if they were well made. When they arrived we were very happily surprised at the high quality. This Gotham collection celebrates the ancient metalworking technique of forging. Utilized for generations by master craftsmen, this skill is taught through diligent apprenticeship. The intricate patterns are achieved by slowly heating sheets of metal and hand-hammering them with different levels of pressure, creating unexpected surfaces with a gently gothic and brooding feeling. This texture is then married with clean, streamlined shapes. The result is a unique collection with a distant nod to the handsome and decisive lines of the industrial period of the 1930s.
