This compact porcelain vase features a beautiful celadon glaze with a natural crackle finish that enhances its antique character. The rounded body is accented by small decorative handles at the shoulders, while the scalloped rim adds a refined touch. Earthy undertones highlight the glaze variations, making each piece unique. A timeless decorative accent for shelves, tables, or displays [5L x 5W x 8H; base 3].
I was disappointed with this vase, especially for the $95 price. The listing photos suggested a lighter, more refined piece with a soft gold tone on the rim, but the vase I received has a completely brown, matte rim with no gold at all. The glaze is also much darker than shown online — more of a muted olive with brown pooling — and the crackle pattern that appears prominent in the photos is barely visible in person. The crackling was one of the reasons I ordered it, and on the actual vase it is faint and easy to miss.
The scale is smaller than the impression given by the product images, and nothing about the look, finish, or presence justifies the $95 cost. This is the kind of item I would expect to be priced in the $25–$35 range. While it arrived well‑packed and undamaged, it simply does not resemble the brighter, more elegant piece shown in the listing. I kept it only to avoid the return process, but it hasn’t found a place in my home because it doesn’t complement anything the way I hoped.
If you’re considering this item, be aware that the rim is brown (not gold), the glaze is significantly darker, the crackling is minimal, and the overall appearance is much plainer than the photos suggest.”. Annette. Redmond, WA. Wed Apr 08 2026
