These are great. Fit right in with my other Chinese pieces. Note, though, they are not really dogs, even though they are commonly called "Foo Dogs". This is a misnomer given to them in the West. They are actually lions, which the Chinese call "Guardian Lions". In Chinese mythology, they guard houses and other places.
