I bought this table as a desk instead of the typical executive style desks. I needed something to fit in with the old world theme and it's perfect. It's a bit high but we bought a chair that sits a little taller and it works together. The quality and look is unmatchable and I would highly recommend this table. It's very heavy and looks extremely well made. I can't say enough good things about it.
