I bought these to replace a 10 year old set of Sabatier from bb& beyond. The primary thing I was looking for was non serrated steak knives. These knives are sharp right from the box. I took a piece of printing paper and held it by the edge and used a steak knife to slice it. The knife sliced cleanly through like a razor blade. The rest of the set feel sturdy and with the German steel I feel that this will be a great set. The fact that they tell you the sharpening bevel is also great so there is no guessing when it's time to true up the blades. I feel these knives are a great value for household kitchens.

Finally I found this cutlery block set. I have ordered other brands from other places and this one looks like it's going to hold up and will be something that will last a long time and is quality.

Nice set knives are very sharp and a lot smaller block than my last one. Has the same amount of knives but takes up less space
