They are pretty color but they are not heavy or substantial pots and pans like some of these reviews would have you believe. I would definitely not buy them for a gas lodge style stove or any other cooking surface that requires something substantial. There is not a lot of weight to these.

A beautiful set of pots and pans! They cook like a dream. No comparison to our old set. If I have to cook 3 meals a day f-o-r-e-v-e-r, I deserve a set of great pans .

So far we are very happy with these pans. They heat up nicely, haven’t had anything stick yet, and are easy to wash. They are very heavy and nice. The one thing I don’t like is the cover on the handles does get warm enough to need a pot holder, but that’s not really a big deal to me.
