We have always purchased Demeyere pans, for the past 20 years. They are made to last. We purchased this new series pan because it has veggie steamers. We purchased 2 to go with this pan and they are perfect. We are set now for another 20 years. These pans do scratch so we only use wooden spoons for stirring or Teflon when needed. Another great feature is the design of the handles. Stainless steel handles on pans can be too hot to handle, but Demeyere's handle design mitigates some of this problem.

This is my second 2 at Demeyer Atlantis Pro pan. It works quite well for a family of two for cooking most any vegetable or side dish for meals. This particular size is also the least expensive one offered. The entire cookware line is the finest on the market and will last forever.
