I paid for two curio cabinets in early August 2024. After 6 failed delivery attempts, on their 7th attempt (29 September) shipper arrived with one of the two curio cabinets I paid for. Like every other failed delivery attempt, the delivery team arrived with just two movers instead of the required three. Absolutely frustrated, i helped the two delivery personnel carry the cabinet into the house. The crew did not know where my other cabinet was. Following several more phone calls to the shipping agent and to perigold itself, I was told my second cabinet had not even been ordered by perigold to be shipped to me despite having paid for both cabinets in early august. For each failed delivery attempt I took off of work. I do not receive paid time off from my employer but am paid $775 per day I work. I lost $4650 in work while waiting for my cabinets to arrive. As of 2 October, I still do not have my second cabinet and was provided a tentative delivery date of 18 October. I will never buy from perigold again. This has been an absolutely horrendous customer experience and is still ongoing. Avoid this company!!!!

We read all the advice about putting in the glass shelves. We ended up putting in the bottom shelf, the top shelf, the middle shelf, then the shelf above. It is beautiful.

We love the cabinet. It is solid and well built. I only have 1 complaint. It is very difficult to get the heavy glass shelves in because the door only slides open part way. We opened it in the direction that allows maximum opening. We started at the bottom as instructed. Bottom and middle shelf was no problem to put in. The top two shelves were difficult. We ended up scratching the side glass of the cabinet trying to angle the shelf in to clear the side wood frame next to the door opening. My husband is 6'3" and I am 5'2". He is tall and strong. I think it is more technique in placing the shelves in. I would recommend that you put the bottom and middle shelf in first and take a break. Then continue later with the top two shelves. It gets heavy as you go along upwards. Overall we are happy with the beautiful cabinet. Just wished we could've placed the shelves in without scratching the side glass.

This Townsend (now called Kane) Curio Cabinet was delivered to our home 7-29-22. The Wayfair delivery team brought in this huge box for this Curio Cabinet. The workers did not put down any protective padding and proceeded to drag the 300 pound box across our brazillian cherry wood floors causing severe scratches. Contacted Wayfair regarding this damage and got the required quote from a professional wood floor finisher. Wayfair said they were only going to pay almost $1400.00 less than the amount of the quote for the floor repair. We called numerous times and tried to explain that all the damage was caused by Wayfair delivery personnel and they needed to repair the flooring back to the condition it was in before the delivery. We finally gave up and got a Check on 12/20/22. So fair WARNING, if you have Wayfair deliver your order and they damage something in your house YOU WILL NOT GET THE AMOUNT QUOTED FROM A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR. Wayfair's 3rd party insurance company was difficult to work with as they will not return phone calls and as a result we will have to pay money out of our pocket when we get our floors repaired as a result of the damage caused during a Wayfair delivery.
