Great knife, very sharp.

Beautiful knife and sharp! (I've already accidentally cut myself with it - not seriously - so don't be a klutz like me). I've wanted to upgrade to some seriously quality knives and Myabi is it. Expensive, but managed to acquire a couple others at discounts. If you can afford them, they will do the job.

Love the pattern on the knife and the touch of the wooden handle. Not to mention it’s sharp!

It feels very sturdy and is very sharp. It feels really nice when you hold it and it just downright gorgeous. I am excited to continue using this knife.

As a professional chef, I own several lines of the Miyabi knives. This birchwood utility is a work of art among art. Photos do no justice for how this wood looks in person. Very light and balanced. When trimming whole beef tenderloin, the blade slices effortlessly. When you work with this knife, you can feel and see the level of expertise that goes into making this knife and know without a doubt this was crafted by passionate hands.
