This rug is NOT for outdoor use as described. I bought the rug this winter in anticipation of replacing a worn out rug on my outdoor porch. The rug is not made from PET, it seems to have cotton fibers. When it rained, it got drenched. It is now hanging to dry, and after two days, it is still not completely dry. My fault for not opening it until I was ready to use it, the return window is closed. Do not buy this rug if you’re planning to use it outside. It’s perfectly lovely , but not an outdoor rug. These cow-hide rugs are naturally durable, resistant to liquid, dirt and stains and are easy to clean with occasional light vacuuming with the low suction setting and no spinning bristles or sweep with a clean broom. Spots and spills are no problem, just clean with a damp cloth, being careful not to soak the hide. The rug has a durable felt backing on the complete underside to protect your rug for generations. Please read the rest of the care instructions in the “Rug Care” section of the website. IMPORTANT NOTE: - Dimensions of each rug may vary slightly (smaller or larger) than the standard sizes shown due to finishing and design scaling. Varcha, in Sanskrit, means rain, and there is nothing more pleasurable than noise, the smell of rain, and being able to take an invigorating shower outdoors, exactly what inspires us in this new concept of high-performance carpet outdoors/indoors.
