This rug was purchased for our outdoor area (as seen above). I don’t believe this was made to be an outdoor rug, however it is working well for our area. A skilled artisan hand-knotted this rug, resulting in banded ends that vary slightly—making each piece unique.

Beautiful, high-quality rug. Colors are a bit more muted than they appear in the online pictures -- what appears to be the white pattern is actually more of a sandstone grey, and the blue is more of a medium denim/ocean blue. The pattern has the perfect level of presence and interest without being loud or overwhelming. The rug reads like a "neutral tone with interest" in the room. The grey on the edges in the photo isn't part of the rug, it's part of the rug pad that we haven't yet cut down to size. This rug feels so good to the touch! We got this to replace our current rug in the living room but decided we would hold off on doing so until our children were a bit older, you see, they are both under 3 years old and thats just a particularly destructive age.
