First off, the rug is beautiful. If you are going to put it in a room that is seldom used and rarely needs vacuuming, then go for it. Otherwise, this is not a rug for a daily use room. It pills worse than any sweater I’ve ever owned and dog hair is impossible to vacuum out of it. I find myself on my hands and knees individually removing single dog hairs because that is the only way they come out. If you are a family without a dog or cat and you won’t be needing to walk on it, it’s fine. Otherwise, buy a different rug.

Bought the 8' x 10' Ivory wool / cotton rug and am extremely happy with this rug through first 2 weeks of owning it. Took a risk given no real reviews at the time and got a great deal. Given natural materials (wool / cotton), it appears very high quality for the price point (which I did get on a sale), and nice to have something that doesn't have synthetic materials. It's very soft to the feel and thus far have not had issues with rug shedding. I did get a rug pad for some extra thickness because of a wood floor below, but I think it could easily be used without one. Ivory color is as displayed in the photos. The back of the rug is also soft and wouldn't scratch a wood floor. I was aiming for a Scandinavia style in color, texture, etc. and feel I was able to achieve this quite well with this rug. TBD how this does over time with more daily wear (it doesn't get much use yet). Upon first vacuuming, minimal material was coming off, again highlightingthe quality of the rug. Hoping this will last for many years to come. Size-wise, as an FYI, the rug is truly ~7'10" x 9'10" as the rug pad is a little larger than the rug, but I view this as a non-issue since rug pads can be easily trimmed to size.

This is a beautiful rug. The weave gives good texture and it is soft underfoot. It does show stains easily, but thus far, we’ve been able to keep it clean looking in a guest room.

Started to unravel in one spot after about 4 months and Wayfair won’t do anything because it’s out of 30 day warranty window…I would definitely not order this again and even question ordering from Wayfair again…
