It is like a boho flokati - some areas long fibers, some areas short fibers. Goes under furniture well b/c fibers not too long. I have it under DR table and it is perfect. Lots of texture and variance in tone and color while being a nice arm neutral.

The description needs to include that parts of the rug are raised and that particles get stuck in them like they would a cotton ball. Not a very practical rug.
