Works great! The rug sticks to the pad and the pad sticks to the ground, and the thickness is just enough to make the rug feel more plush without becoming a tripping hazard. Owning serval rug pads of various thickness, and having found my way to the Eco-Plush, there is no going back. It is better than the regular softer, less fallout, not as heavy.
