Never spent this much on a medium size rug but Calvin was worth the price. No horrible chemicals or smells, my husband won't step on it with his shoes because of the price - yea, and he is stunning. My girlfriend says spend the extra and get a wool one. I didn't choose because of the price. It was the colors that matched my new blue room!!!!!!!!!!!! She wears really well. No foot marks. Vacuum lines disappear quickly. I only wished he had come in a foot larger. The next size was too large. But she is the room focus now, and how can you not just love him?
