I wanted to love this chair, I did however I did not. The Good: It looks great. The chair height was perfect. The chair colour was about the same. It is a cranberry-wine colour which is quite nice, it's not overpowering red. The Bad: It's uncomfortable for me, horribly uncomfortable. This was supposed to be the main chair that I would use on a daily basis, to watch TV in, to surf the internet in, to fall asleep in while reading a good book. I couldn't imagine relaxing in this chair and doing any of those. I couldn't sit in this chair for more than half an hour before my back started to ache and the next day, my back was on fire. Also note: this chair scratches very easily which for me, I didn't mind but if you're OCD about that, I can't recommend this chair. It arrived with a few scratches which I expected because it's a smooth leather, others may find this a problem. I think that if you're a small person, this chair might be a good fit for you. If you measure from armrest to armrest it is NOT 24" What could they do better? Use a mix of down and foam to make the seat more comfortable. Make the width a bit wider. Make the back side a bit taller. I don't know, something was just off for me. I now have to pay the 160 bucks to return it; this was a real bummer but at least it can be returned.

Chair is comfortable and is leather but not the highest grade. There were a few flaws with a dye defect on the wing of the chair and stain defects on the legs.

It's beautiful, simply beautiful. I've always loved a sort of look from the 1700's and the high back winged chair covered in leather fit the bill perfectly. And while I strive for elegance especially for the sake of my children, I'm forever mindful of those who don't have the means for such surroundings and it's important to me and the children to choose items that will last a lifetime. And along with that we work very hard to financially help those who have nothing. So while I cherish the elegance of this chair I consider it a blessing and something to be shared with others. Love it, very pleased with the unique look...

Delivery team did not want to unpack the chair because of a tight "time schedule". We insisted so they did unpack which allowed us to inspect the item before they left. No defects noted. They left the cardboard and packing materials in the front yard for my disposal. They should have taken this with them. David
