Excellent fountain. The whole experience was top notch. The delivery was made without a hitch. Everything packaged on a pallet that was secure and safe. It is very heavy, so a lot of help is needed to move it into position. The fountain comes with everything you need - Pump, hoses, and even a canister of touch up if needed. We did not need the touch up. Very easy to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow. You will need an out door outlet to plug it in. Just a regular plug is fine. Make sure you have a solid foundation for where the fountain will rest because this fountain is the real deal. It is not a decorative, cheap, plastic knock off. It is just as pictured only the color is different. It took 5 men to get it in place we have one spout that the water is not streaming from it’s the center top bowl and my guess is there could be a little more adjustment needed. The fountain is beautiful. We think of it as a modern classic, and we frequently receive compliments from neighbors and guests. The one drawback was that there were a few scratches when we received it. Be sure you have at least two people to move the two pieces around. The total weight is well over three hundred pounds. I love the fountain. I am originally from upper Michigan which is copper country so this is right up my ally. The fountain is VERY heavy. I am disappointed with the quality a bit. The slate can not be centered properly because the top was machined off center. I can't return it because is too heavy and cumbersome to do so. Plus it cost me $300 to have someone hang it. I love, love this fountain! The bases are wide and don't topple when, for example, a cat or squirrel jumps on. The 3 tiers are not physically attached, so there is a lot of freedom in how you can arrange them (you'll need help moving the lowest basin, but an adult male can handle the other pieces alone). Most pedestal fountains have a rubber gasket sealing the hole where the pump cord goes, but this has a hidden tube above the waterline to pass the power cord through, so no seal is needed. This made it easy for me to replace the pump with a solar-powered one. I am not a fan of resin, and I really appreciate the "real" look of the stone. It is suggested that this fountain top is not left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack. All fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material, and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.
