The fountain is beautiful. We think of it as a modern classic, and we frequently receive compliments from neighbors and guests. The one drawback was that there were a few scratches when we received it. Be sure you have at least two people to move the two pieces around. The total weight is well over three hundred pounds. I love the fountain. I am originally from upper Michigan which is copper country so this is right up my ally. The fountain is VERY heavy. I am disappointed with the quality a bit. The slate can not be centered properly because the top was machined off center. I can't return it because is too heavy and cumbersome to do so. Plus it cost me $300 to have someone hang it. It is suggested that this fountain top is not left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water and snow and freezes, the top may crack. All fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material, and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors. Check the fountain periodically to ensure that the cover is secure and water is not accumulating in any fountain component.

I like it. Its burble is relaxing to listen to. Color-wise, it’s not quite what I expected. It’s lighter. Perhaps it will darken with age. Though it wasn’t hard to assemble, the instructions could have been clearer. On the plus side, the pump’s flow is adjustable and the light can be unplugged without affecting the pump. It is just as pictured only the color is different. It took 5 men to get it in place we have one spout that the water is not streaming from it’s the center top bowl and my guess is there could be a little more adjustment needed. I love the fountain. Its working beautifully and it wasn't hard to assemble. However, I had to persuade the person who delivered the very heavy cumbersome package it came in to use his dolly to place it on my deck. He wasn't going to do it!!! It ended up being perfect for the spot. The finish gives it a patina that resembles a mix of sandstone meets oxidized copper. Pros extremely well made, solid, looks like it belongs in a European Mediterranean town. The pump is the perfect sizestrength to provide a pleasant steady stream. The sound is mesmerizing. There is an easy enough, but concealed opening in the back to allow for pumplight cords without having to do too many acrobatics. The shipping is so well protected it could probably be hurled from a plane and survive. Cons it’s delivered on a pallet and it either has to reach its final location in pieces or the opening has to be large enough where a pallet can fithand fork lift can easily access. The pieces are large and extremely heavy. This is not a 1-2 person operation. Expect some need of helpequipment to install it. The bottom basin is probably about 900-1000lbs. The two upper ones with the back was probably another 700lbs (which has to lifted to fit on top of the basin, which in turn is lifted over three separate pieces comprising the bottom-baselegs. You need to have a very clear and precise idea where it’s going because once it’s set down, it will be very difficult to move. The pump tubing requires a little effort to connect, but doable. We love this fountain, and it fits perfectly in our landscape. The water flow creates a beautifully relaxing and consistent stream-like sound. The base is quite heavy, but with 2-3 folks, it goes into place easily. Leveling the base and pillars seems to be quite important, as each pool fills up to almost the brim when running smoothly..
