I purchased this in October 2021 to replace the same light because it stopped working. These are stated to be for wet locations, this is not true. They can be mounted up or down, not true either. I have replaced 2 of these because they became water logged and the leds died. The joints are not sealed on the corners and the metal fades and rusts. I am going to request a refund from my last purchase from modern forms since this light lasted less than 3 months despite me sealing every joint and the backplate with caulk.

Not waterproof at all. Installed light in the winter. Caulked at the attachment to the electrical box. The light lasted for a few months. I saw water inside the led channels. How is this an outdoor light. This has happened to me twice with this same light. Never buy again.

This is a gorgeous, simple, clean light. Terrific for a modern look. Comes with an insert for extra design or simply use it without.
