Searing, roasting, sautéing, they work great. I even cooked a large omelet. As much as I liked cast iron I've become a huge fan of the Karbon Steel

I bought this pre seasoned Karbon steel. I seasoned them 3 times in the oven per the instruction. The basket without holes worked OK. The basket with holes stuck all my vegetables. I spent 10 minutes trying to get the stuck food and could not. It is just not worth the price and the food get stuck easily. My seasoned cast iron KJ grill plate did better with vegetables not a single one got stuck.
