I am having a home built for myself. I currently live one mile from my oldest son and his only daughter. He is a single parent, caring for a beautiful, autistic child. He has a very large property and has given me the rear acreage for my new home. I bought this angel for my flower bed as a memorial for my daughter who died last fall. And while I love how it looks, I noticed this week several areas where the concrete is failing. The pictures show the spots. I've only had it out for 3 weeks. It's hard to believe that a 75 pound statue would have spots falling off. In fact, for the $250 I paid, nothing should be falling off it. Yes, I should have bought the protection plan for $10; but for a concrete statute I would never have thought it would be necessary. There must be a flaw in the concrete. I can try to patch these spots as I'm concerned about water seeping in when it rains and whether I can match the material is another question, but my main concern is that there are several of the spots and that more will appear making the statue unattractive. Some response on this matter would be appreciated.
