+Beautiful lamp. Was looking for a warm light with some character for my home office. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. -For $500 I would expect the sections of this lamp to fit properly and be the same shade of bronze (see photos). I tried unscrewing and reattaching several times but this is how it lines up. Will anyone but me notice--probably not. That doesn't mean it's okay. The lamp was bought new but delivered used, broken and defective… not even original packaging or paperwork. Refund was approved. What upset me the most was having to repackage the lamp in the same lousy packaging and ship it back. It needed to go in the trash… and yes, it was that bad. The Rovigo collection features unique curved hand-blown Murano glass shades and crimped detailing in a hand-painted weathered silver finish. This floor lamp has two stems that each support one shade and a single curvy stem that is intertwined in between these giving it some interesting detail. The square base has a zig-zag cut out only adding to the playful character of this great floor lamp.

The team (everybody I have ever talked with at Perigold), has been professional, listens well, and has offered good suggestions. I love the lamp. I love everything about it. Except during shipping one of the shade glass panels was broken. And, the body of the lamp wobbles, which it is not designed to happen. Having said this disappointing news, I have set up the lamp in a corner where hopefully my cleaning crew won’t attempt to move it. This was the third attempt to make it right and I have no confidence in the delivery teams to care for the lamp in transit. The manufacturer packs it so well, I’m surprised that either the shade or the body of the lamp could possibly be damaged. Clearly, based on the care given to pack it so tightly and well to stabilize both parts, the delivery teams must have not treated the boxes with care - or said another way, they either threw the boxes or something else to cause such damage. By the way, after the second lamp was damaged I spoke with the manufacturer about it. The woman I spoke with was horrified and in fact, spoke with the man who puts this lamp together who gave assurances that their QC process is tight and no lamp leaves the manufacturing floor unless all parts are functioning as intended. They went as far as to describe their approach to crafting this beautiful lamp. It makes me sad. Thank you for being a company that cares about the products you offer. I have purchased 4 different lamps through you within the past year or two, and love them all. That this stunning lamp has been mistreated during transit is no reflection on Perigold, and after personally speaking with the manufacturer, this unfortunate situation has no reflection on them..
