DISCUSTING quality control for 1 lamp with a black shade!!!!! It all started with the shades: I received a single shade WITHOUT the base so I called Wayfair. The SECOND lamp never showed but a second SHADE arrived WITHOUT the base AGAIN !!!! but his shade was damaged. Then after yet another call to WAYFAIR to get a complete lamp the base finally arrived but it was damaged and not assembled correctly plus this shipment was shipped WITHOUT a shade even though the packing slip noted a shade had been shipped. To make matters worse when I requested a replacement lamp base to replace the first damaged base when the second base finally arrrived it ALSO HAD THE SAME DAMAGE and poor ASSEMBLY ( lopsided on the pedistal base and incorrecly inserted crystal cube) as the first lamp base!!!!! NOW I have to call WAYFAIR yet again to get this matter settled...and hopefully receive a third base in excellent condition so I can install this $ 700.00+ lamp for my patient client !. Deborah. These are solid, heavy lamps. The base is wide enough to support the shade---no chance of them tipping over (I was worried about that!). LOVELY design. My only complaint is that I was under the impression (and this is one of the reasons I purchased these lamps), that they were made in USA...only to find a "made in China" sticker on the bottom of the lamp :( :(. This is a stunningly beautiful table lamp. Thankfully it is slightly smaller than I had pictured it to be. It fits perfectly on our sofa table In the photo that I took, the glass appears to be warm colors, but in real life, the colors appear to be slightly cooler.
