Column & Torchiere Floor Lamps

In conceiving Cortina, designer Pablo Pardo sought to create a light that would assert its presence but seamlessly complement a variety of surroundings. What he built is a stoic, sculptural luminaire that emits a seductive light through its transparent and diffused surfaces. Cortina’s monolithic form factor creates a noble light that mimics its architectural surroundings. Fluidly dimmable, the piece is comprised of a clear acrylic shade and a translucent fabric diffuser to shield the upward-facing light source.

The lamp serves the purpose well for which it was purchased. It really brightens a dark room. There should be a note to install the lampshade upside down. Typically, you would put the lampshade on with the inner cross-pieces on the upper side of the shade. If you do that on this one, the light bulb sticks out above the shade. If you turn it upside down, it sits perfectly.. Andi. Austin, TX. Mon Jul 31 2023

+Beautiful lamp. Was looking for a warm light with some character for my home office. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. -For $500 I would expect the sections of this lamp to fit properly and be the same shade of bronze (see photos). I tried unscrewing and reattaching several times but this is how it lines up. Will anyone but me notice--probably not. That doesn't mean it's okay. Note: this is the 2nd lamp I've ordered from this manufacturer and the other is absolutely perfect.. Cynthia. Eagan, MN. Mon Nov 11 2024

Well, I think it's really beautiful and minimal and it was the only stick light we could find this height however, it's definitely way over-priced for such a thin minimal light, even though it fits the bill perfectly for us in corner of room. Designed by Rico Espinet, our Nina collection features a clean-cut design and inviting illumination provided by a frosted glass shade. Nina is perfect for creating a sophisticated atmosphere in your contemporary space.

It’s a very well built quality lamp. Great if you need something very narrow and tall. However, it doesn’t produce a lot of light do the fact it’s a single bulb in a fairly very narrow glass bowl. If you want a lot of light, I would choose a floor lamp with a wider, more diffuse shade. Great if you want to just light up a dark corner.. Andrew. Los Altos Hills, CA. Sun Oct 26 2025
