Morosini Flush Mounts

There are lots of textile myths of the past, Ariadne, Arachne, Penelope, the Fates. They remind us metaphorically how to build relationships, create a network, hand down knowledge. Through Ribbon, Morosini picked up the thread of knowledge and wisdom in the Italian Manual Tissue Processing. Silky strips of cloth wrapped entirely by hand around a metal structure, create a unique visual effect thanks to the use of a diffuser in blown glass that appears and disappears visually turning around the lampshade. Simple but with a particular character, Ribbon is the perfect lamp for those who love modern but classy lamps.

This collection is available as floor, pendant, ceiling and wall lamps in different measures and diameters. The internal metallic structure is covered with a white removable and washable elastic fabric. All items of the Diamond collection are designed for energy-saving fluorescent bulbs and LED bulbs.

Very cool looking flush mount, looks like a sculpture during the day and beautiful architectural light fixture fixture by night. Wasn't very complicated too assemble and install. The only part that I don't love is that the light bulbs are almost completely visible through the fabric when the light is turned on. If the fabric were a touch thicker I'd give it 5 stars.
