Inspired by modernizing retro styles, Thomas O'Brien designed the Robinson as a refined update of a 1960s lamp. I'll start by saying any regrets I have about these are my own fault. These a beautiful and I knew better than to get clear glass pendants in a kitchen, see photos. I have two points for potential buyers: 1. the base barely covers a standard electrical box, if you look closely, you can see the gray box and 2. ye be warned at how hard these are to clean. We've fried food twice since these have been up and while they look amazing off, as soon as you turn them on...grease! To make matters worse, the collar that holds the glass to the fixture is painful to put on making it even harder to clean. I will likely be replacing these down the road but for the sake of my marriage, I had to stop searching after the 27th pendant option. FYI - to change the glass option is $150 per fixture.. Alex.
