It's a brushed moderne brass finish, which looks beautiful and gave the area a whole new look. Not gonna lie it took quite awhile to finally get it installed, two or three people is helpful. I do like that the glass slats are going to make it easy to wash them up. If you want show stopping lighting this is one gorgeous one. Both my wife and I love it- it has 10 lights so it can be extremely bright- we have it on a dimmer, so it works out well for us. Unless you want really bright all the time, get a dimmer or lower wattage bulbs. This light was easy to install (if you're used to installing lights), and came with more than enough chain length for the space. The build looks of very high quality and we like how pretty the crystal glass front for each bulb looks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a high ceiling in my dining room so this light fixture was perfect for me. I was replacing an older light so it was easy to get it installed. It has a standard wiring set up. I really liked the safety cord because I was installing this myself and the cord held it for me while I got it attached to the mounting plate. I liked that I was able to shorten the length that it hangs down by eliminating some of the down roads. It took less than an hour to get it totally installed. I couldn't turn it on because I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase the special bulbs that aren't included. Once I installed the bulbs and turned it on it became a very classy, ultra modern looking chandelier. It now looks like I did a total makeover in my dining room. If you want to update your light fixture this is the one to get. This is very well made and will give you that wow factor when you walk into the room. I would definitely recommend.. Gayl. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Certainly I had the highest of expectations and hopes for the Kohler Three-Light Linear Chandelier. I do not refer to it as a chandelier personally, though that is what it has been named. It is a pendant I would say, and a rather plain one at that, and therefore, I do not want to paint an inaccurate picture for you. It is a very high quality, and classy, and beautiful fixture no matter what you call it. The true high end look comes from the understated design complemented by the sleek, graceful lines. It provides ample light, though I am by no means drawing up blueprints by it. It is great dinner, or after dinner drink lighting, the kind in which we look healthy and smooth. The overall quality is impressive with great workmanship evident that can be seen through the assembly process. Easy to understand instructions allowed for a quick assembly with tools supplied which is critical for the light globe assembly. All parts are heavy duty and rugged. The style is one that goes well in a modern style house with tasteful decor. With the product being so rugged, it is very heavy and requires that the support box is safely mounted.
