Cordless table lamp powered by a rechargeable battery. The In The Sun collection designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost pays homage to the Sun King. Its 5-position switch lets you vary the light intensity, and bathes the table that hosts it with its joyful lights and festive shadows. This table lamp, a real "jewel candle", is part of the Cordless Collection.
Steel table lamp. Bernard-Albin Gras created the Lampe Gras for industry and design offices. It is remarkable for its ergonomics and the simplicity of its mechanics, which give it a foolproof robustness. Lampe Gras No. 205 was first designed for offices.
Cordless table lamp in steel and brass. Eric de Dormael, artist and sculptor, invites sharing, confidence and delicacy through a magical light, a chiaroscuro typical of candles. This jewel of light placed on a coffee table, bookcase or arbour opens up to the joy of meeting and lends the moment a sacred character.
La Lampe Frechin is a table and floor lamp composed of a base in black marble and anodized aluminum, and a borosilicate tube. By confronting timeless material with a poetic approach to technology, this luminaire illuminates spaces as much as it offers a sensory experience of optic between science and magic.
Table lamp in steel and aluminum. Biny in a few words: efficiency, simplicity, sobriety and elegance. Designed in 1957 by Jacques Biny, this lamp provides both soft and efficient lighting. Conceived for comfortable reading, the fins can be adjusted via a wheel to direct the light to the precise part of the surface you want to illuminate.
Table lamp in steel and aluminum. Movement is the source of inspiration for all Bernard Schottlander's work: artist, engineer-handyman, he has perfected a clever pivot-counterweight system, using flexible and resistant metal rods. His lights, inspired b
What is it? A mystery? An object from outer space? From what period of history did it emerge? Which era? Who could have invented such an object? These are the first questions that spring to mind when you see the ISP lamp, the work of a young ‘engineer-artist’. He’s 30 years old. His name is Ilia Sergeevich Potemine. ISP is a mini-revolution in the lighting world. Aesthetically, it resembles nothing on earth. It’s not inspired by any existing lamp, nor is it a reproduction of some obscure design from a bygone era. It is a resolutely contemporary object. A jewel of a lamp that illuminates a mysterious universe. At the same time, it is a mechanical jewel, one that is encased in a simple brass capsule. ISP makes us all masters of light: it has no switch, no dimmer. From obscurity to light with a period of eclipse in between, our relationship to the object is itself part of the experience. ISP switched off, eclipsed, or lit up.
Somewhere between a piece of futurist architecture, a form of 21st-century crinoline, and a spaceship… Everyone can make their own lighting environment using two dimmers: one to control the bulb’s color temperature, the other to its brightness.
The starting point of Aaro was a gesture. A movement. Simon Schmitz wanted to create as fluid motion as possible, which immediately lead him to the sphere. A sphere has so many fantastic attributes. With a sphere as a joint, they are no limited directions, it has no left or right, no top or bottom. So with the sphere as the defining element of this piece, everything else “revolved“ around it. The geometry, the balance, the friction. It all comes down to the sphere, visually pointing at it. An end result is an object that seems to be moved by the wind. It revolves effortlessly around its centerpiece, like planets orbiting around each other. With Aaro, inspired by Aaron’s rod, the magician Simon Schmitz makes his lamp levitate.
Inspired by geometric shapes and mathematical objects, Armen is a game of imbrication and balance between two simple forms: the cone and the sphere. Like the eponymous lighthouse, the light is guided by the three cones. Two switches allow controlling of light intensity and color temperature.
