I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren. For the price paid, even on sale, I don’t think it’s worth the money. First lamp had a big dent in the base and customer service was terrific and sent a new lamp. The shade on the second shipment was not usable and so since I had another lamp, I was able to piece together a functional one. The lampshade is a bit askew and it has to do with how it’s suspended from the arc. Overall design is good. The execution in manufacturing and definitely shipping needs to be worked on.. Helane.
