Beautiful chandelier that is sculptural and really pretty. I recommend installing with a dimmer - provides plenty of light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should have paid better attention to the dimensions because this light is massive! I had originally planned on hanging this in my stairwell but it was just too big. So I improvised and moved it to my bathroom since the black and white decor matched. On the plus side, this was very nicely packaged (other than 3 loose screws that I almost missed in one of the boxes). There will be a lot of cardboard to recycle after unpacking! The instructions were difficult to follow in my opinion and I almost gave up putting this together at one point. It would have been helpful to have individual diagrams for each of the steps rather than an overall diagram. In terms of installation, this is definitely a two person job and you will need someone who is strong enough to lift it over their head. It is super heavy and there’s no way I could have hung this without my husband’s help. In terms of the actual fixture, it is unique and a statement piece, but it almost looks cheap to me. The black iron, while heavy, is almost unnecessarily so, and because it has no texture, they could have almost used plastic instead and I wouldn’t have known the difference. The plain white shades also appear cheap to me, and I accidentally bent one of them while handling it. Some type of texture would have gone a long way in improving the appearance of this IMO. Also be aware that you will need to buy 12 candelabra type light bulbs. Overall, this may suit your style, especially if you’re trying to make a statement, but make sure you have the proper space for it and be prepared to be frustrated with assembling and hanging.
