Had problems getting the fan to work… Hired an electrician to diagnose and found wire loose within fan. Got it working, yet fan makes a substantial humming sound, which would not be an issue if it wasn’t directly over our bed… Have purchased several fans from Modern fan co prior and never had issues like this.
