It is a good looking pendant aside from where it attaches to the ceiling. It does not inset into the J box and it is not very attractive looking. The way that the cylinder is made you would think that it's base would be hidden.

I should have read the reviews to understand that the top of the light does not inset into the J box and it is not very attractive looking. The way that the cylinder is made you would think that it's base would be hidden. IT IS NOT FLUSH TO CEILING and therefore you have another inch plus sticking out of your ceiling which undermines the sleekness of the product and it reduces the quality and high end nature of the item. We are stuck with two as the electrician already installed them (they look terrible) but we paid $$ for him to do so and when he was done noted the design flaw. We returned the third because of the issue. Also they have a very small light bulb (like a christmas tree light bulb) that we all think equally reduces design appeal and illumination quality.

Doesn't take a standard light bulb and the bulb required is not listed anywhere. Not online, not from bludot, not even in the instructions. Strange. Allmodern didn't even know. The lights are fairly sexy, but I don't think they're worth the price.

I ordered two of these pendants for our master bedroom and they really make the room pop. I would give them 5 stars with the exception that there are no instructions on how to adjust the cord length. We had to improvise a little to install them properly with the right cord length. The bulb size is also a little odd, not sure why they couldn't have used a regular sized bulb base. Pros: Great statement piece Cons: Poor installation instructions
