We have not yet tried all the numerous features this oven provides, partially because it is taking us time to read and apply all the instructions and partially because it is summer so we BBQ a great deal. We find it preheats fairly quickly which is convenient. Baking has also proved effective and true to temperature readings. Broiling is also easy to use and prepares steaks beautifully. I love love my side opening doors as I am shortand I couldn't reach into my prior ovens and would touch the door and burn myself; these are wonderful and my favorite feature. Some things I am just getting used to but most involve the clock. I missed having the date along with the time and did not realized it wasn't gonna be there. Sometimes these little things are important to users. Also can't figure out how to lower the temp while cooking and many recipes require this. This oven was actually the only unit I could find that would fit in an existing custom 27 inch cabinet. To be honest I was worried the user interface was going to be awkward but I actually really like it. It works well for baking, keep warm, microwave cooking and defrosting. And it looks great. Our goal was to improve reliability (the Dacor was constantly breaking down after 20-years of service) and increase our available storage space. We rarely used both ovens in the Dacor at the same time and were mainly using the unused one to store baking sheets and pans and such. This is a stunning appliance, very sleek looking when installed. A design feature that I really like is the single control panel that governs both units. I was very skeptical about speed ovens, in general, and not sure whether they were worth the cost. After a few months, I'm a convert. It cooks salmon perfectly using the speed cooking settings provided by the device. I cooked two pork tenderloins that also were cooked perfectly. However, there are a few significant design flaws that, for the price, I suggest should be corrected: 1. The very basic digital display panel is annoyingly touchy, e.g., just inadvertently bumping it with my hip as I walk by turns on some feature, 2. There is NO child safety lock or system on this model for either the digital display nor the knobs. I've made do to correct 1 and 2 using a magnetic covering over the digital display panel The knobs are also very touchy and am using child safety covers to prevent unintentionally turning the oven on. 3. Preheat seems to take longer than our previous nearly 30 year old oven.
