Wish it came with a guard or blade protector but rather amazing. Feels great in the hand and easy to use. I selected a paring knife since I do a lot of prep and cutting meats. You really don't have an idea how great these knives are until you're using one. If you cook a lot I heavily recommend u save for one and treat yourself but hide it from those who destroy kitchen items. Every family has one of those. Really impressive knife!!
