I purchased this after reading that America's Test Kitchen recommended it. I was suprised at just how much of a difference it makes. We previously used a Kuerig and the Oxo 8 Cup Brewer puts the Kuerig to shame. This is an SCA (speciality coffee association) certified maker and for good reason. If one of the favorite parts of your day is that cup of coffee in the morning, this maker is well worth the money. Other notes- it doesn't have an auto brew but I was surprised that it brews a full 8 cups pretty quickly. I'm learning to appreicate it's simplicity. It's also very easy to clean.. Catherine.
