Being aluminum instead of cast iron it seems to transfer heat quicker. So maybe lower the oven temp a little or add more liquid than if cooking in cast iron similar product. It had warped with age and I purchased this Vitale 6qt pot as a replacement and am very happy with this dutch oven. I was debating getting a cast iron dutch oven however I found them too heavy empty let alone when they were full.
