I love it, and have used it for making soups, beans and stews several times… nothing sticks and washes up easily. Thanks to Cuisinart for another great product!

We call this pot "the witch's cauldron" because it is so easy to hurt yourself with it (the "ouch!" kind, not serious injury). The handles get super hot and you need to use pot holders to touch them. The bottom of the pot angles out slightly so it makes it awkward trying to hold pot holders while you drain pasta into a colander. I have definitely gotten steamed a number of times. Not a great pot design
