The borosilicate glass Isy Bowls provide a healthy and easy way to store your baby’s meals

The product name uses the word “bowls”, but these are jars, not bowls.The pack I received for review was the one including an additional three smaller jars.Although they are marketed to use for baby food, they can be used for storing any food at all. They arrived just in time to store Christmas leftovers. We have some cranberry sauce in one, a small amount of potato salad in another and a few mixed veg in a third.The lids are a perfect fit, so no odour can escape; as they are silicon, they are flexible enough to pop on and off very easily with no effort, but they also stay in place.The jars are made of borosilicate glass, so they are virtually unbreakable. You can use them in the microwave, the fridge or the freezer without worrying if they are going to shatter due to temperature shock. We have not heated them in the microwave straight from the freezer, but the description says “no need to wait for the food to thaw out in the refrigerator before heating.”The lids have cat faces on them, which as a cat family appeals to use, and the ears have a practical purpose - little tabs to help remove the lids easily.We will be using these for years. An excellent purchase for organization in the kitchen. I appreciate the variety of sizes. This allowed me to get rid of the unsafe plastic containers I had been using. I like the uniform appearance and they are stackable. I would have given a 5-star review but one container arrived significantly cracked. Great space saver for storage, but I don't think I'd sous vide for more than a few hours in these bags. The bag puffed up after just an hour or less & I had to press air out manually in the sous vide. Would not do a multi-day (or even full day) cook in these bags.. Colomntns. Sat Apr 04 2026
