[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!. This induction cooktop is amazing! I can boil water in under a minute, literally. I also love that it connects to my hood vent and turns the hood on/off automatically. Couldn’t more happy with the performance and tech. I do worry about the glass edges. I am not sure why the glass hovers about the countertop about 1/16”. Purchased 2 months ago. Weather just got really warm 2 weeks ago so used only a small amount. The unit is on a first floor of 1000 sq. ft. with a secondary fan to circulate.
