The small size was smaller than I had thought. The large was way larger. I should have read the information better but got confused on the site as to what I ordered . First I thought I was ordering a small, medium and a large not 2 small and a large. The sizes ended up being not all that useful to me. I did get a medium as a gift and that was way more usable. This is the one for flour, sugar, rice, etc. Holds a good amount and is very sturdy. Same quality as other products in the line. Takes up space, so some other sizes may be more practical than this one. I was able to convert to some smaller sizes and free up space in the pantry by not using as many of this size; only when they were the truly right size.
