This knife, being just the small version of the 7" I reviewed, has a nice blade shape, makes cutting of things like stick pepperoni, of smoked sausage, so simple and easy. No effort at all. The texture on the handles add a very nice feel in the hand in addition to the comfort of the weight and balance. The blade is sharp from the start, and the guard fits wonderfully.
