This knife, being just the small version of the 7" I reviewed, has a nice blade shape, makes cutting of things like stick pepperoni, of smoked sausage, so simple and easy. No effort at all. The texture on the handles add a very nice feel in the hand in addition to the comfort of the weight and balance. The blade is sharp from the start, and the guard fits wonderfully. I like the guard because it protects the edge from any damage in a drawer, on a counter, even on a magnetic knife rail where I keep mine.

Great knives, very sharp, had to get 6 stitches in my thumb where i laid it open, being so much more careful!!

Awesome knife to cut Vegetables. I love that is a whole piece not with additional parts.
