I am learning as I go. Buying pans and realized this was the better of the Demeyere line, depending on whom you spoke to. I am pleased about that because I am buying very slowly, on sale and do not mind mixing brands. I could not seem to find a set I liked with the quality and what I wanted in it. I did not want to compromise myself. I have done enough of that in my life. Pans are for making amazing food for people to enjoy. I don't want to buy just "okay" pans at this age. I'm living now for the first time in many years and it feels great. I might buy all Atlantis. Looking at a 5.5 quart right now. Have many pans that are not Demeyere.
