This whetstone is nice and rough. Great starting point to re-cut the blade. The glass is durable and you can use water or oil on it, plus you don’t need to soak these you can just sprinkle the material on and begin sharpening.

This 400 Grit sharpening stone will fit the Zwilling sink bridge for the easiest stone sharpening event.

This stone is great for sharpening. For a really thorough sharpening, you need to use stones from low grit and work incrementally up to higher grits in order to produce that perfectly razor-sharp mirror-finished edge. This grit is great for transitioning between a lower grit of say 250 up to 1000, to scalpel-like edge. As with most stone sharpeners, there is a bit of a learning curve but can easily become one of your favorite maintenance activities. I suggest practicing on a cheaper knife first when you are just getting the feel for stone sharpening. However, properly using whetstones is totally worth the time and money for that perfectly clean cut. It just elevates the entire cooking experience.

My spouse invested in the Kramer Japanese Knife Set and this is a must have for a knife set of this quality and to keep extra sharp.

this is an excellent choice if you need to make some minor repairs to your knives. Perfect for restoring a dull knife. Great feel to this stone.

I use the 400 grit with the Bob Kramer sink bridge. The 400 grit is rougher and is good for repairing or putting a new edge on the knife. Follow it up with a finer grit for polishing.

Expertly and healthily sharpen your Kramer knives with this amazing water sharpening stone. It is an essential accessory to any Kramer knife purchase.

If you have some chips or if your knife is really dull, this is a great whetstone to have. This is an extra coarse grit, so it helps to recreate that sharp razor edge that you expect to have for your knives. Great for Kramer knives, but also any other Japanese or German knives. A great tool to use to help your knife if it has seen some wear and tear from use.
