My installer originally thought that this would be more hood than what I needed, having two fans within. One tricky bit, my ceilings are only 8 ft tall so my installer had to size it down, but it comes with plenty of housing to make it work for taller walls. After using if for several months now I can confidently say that it was the perfect choice for both size and power. I cook a lot and my biggest issue was always when I would cook steaks, brown roasts, etc... The whole house would inevitably fill with smoke, wed open windows, turn on fans and my husband would have to man the smoke detectors. Im so grateful to have a vent now blowing OUT of the house. There are several power settings on the fan for small jobs versus the big ones and it works really well. There are also two brightness settings on the lights which is a nice feature. Cleaning the grates is relatively easy as well. Overall this is a handsome and sturdy hood and I recommend it.

Received on time. Looks great. Had minor dent on side from shipping. Sent replacement immediately. Great service. Haven’t used it yet.

Very loud looks pretty but doesn’t really do a great job, don’t waste your money. I still need to contact them to see if it needs filters, maybe that’s why it just make noise like it’s taking up cooking smells but doesn’t do it job. Waste of time and money.
