Finish:Unfinished Wood
We purchased the natural with intent to stain to match our cabinets. The hood part would not take stain. After several attempts we ended up painting it. Product quality and functional has not a problem.

The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. We stopped this by adding small silicone dotsdoor stoppers in the corners, but felt like this is a product issue that should be easy to solve for.

I love that this is wood and paintable, I wanted it to be an extension of the wall so painted it the same color and I love how it turned out.

This was impossible to paint because of the poor quality of the wood used. The contractor had to use wood putty on it and had to paint it multiple times to make it look nice.
