As a spoon rest I would prefer the oval of the dish to be turned the other way, but since I’m actually using it next to my faucet to hold my sink stopper it works perfectly! Only four stars because I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t more glazing around the edges (which is actually noticeable in the online photo, but I still hoped for more!). However you choose to use it, I would surely recommend!
